We are so thrilled to share with you the logo for our June Show 2022!  We are incredibly grateful to finally be able to have the opportunity to put on a show after two long years. We’ve dedicated the theme for this year to the enduring spirit of our dance family; Even when life’s challenges weigh us down, TOGETHER WE RISE! Dance families – We need your input! We are currently trying to determine if we will need to put on an additional third performance in order to accommodate the anticipated number of guests for our 2022 June Show. We need your input! We finally heard back from the Sunnyvale Community Center Theater letting us know that the weekend of June 11-12 is now available for booking. Now is a critical time for us to make a decision regarding if we will put on a June Show or postpone it again. There are multiple factors at play, and we want everyone to be fully aware of what it would take to make this happen before we ask for everyone’s commitment. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all! Please note in your calendars that the studio will be closed for the holiday break starting on Monday, December 20th with classes resuming on Monday, January 3rd. I also want to share an update with everyone regarding our search for a theater to possibly host a 2022 June Show. Wendy and I have been viewing more theaters with doors continuing to close on us. The last two theaters we went to do not even allow tap dancing on their stage! This would mean that in order for us to put on a show in those particular theaters I would have to rent an additional stage to put over theirs,…

We hope everyone and their loved ones are enjoying a safe and fun break! Just a reminder that our first day back is Monday, August 9th and will include a few schedule changes… I am excited to announce that Ms. Laural Hargrove will be joining our faculty once again. She will be teaching an Adult Beginners Tap Class starting Tuesday, August 10th at 7:00 p.m.  Tap is a fun way to get some exercise and keep your mind sharp by challenging and enhancing your coordination! We’re trying something new this year! Unfortunately, this is one more year where we will have to continue on without our big show in June. We usually take the entire month of June off following the show, but since things are going to look a little different we decided to try something new for summer break here at Tude’s School of Dance. Instead of taking one consecutive month off, we will be breaking up the four-week vacation over the course of the months June through September. Congratulations to our talented dancers for another stellar performance! This was our first opportunity in over a year to safely perform together, and we are so grateful and excited to be able to share that experience with everyone!
