        Hello!
Your child may love coming to one of our combo classes on Saturday morning. We recommend the eleven am class and we are always accepting new students. This is a tap, ballet and tumbling class. We may be able to provide tap and ballet shoes- we have a few “loaner” pairs here. You are always welcome to watch the class on your child’s first day.
        Thank you!

Would like to sign up from June for Saturday 10:00AM Combo class for 4-6 years old. Would like to find out what is the class length – 1 hour? How much is tuition, and is there additional registration fee?

By the way, all the info are not shown on your website. This is not convenient for user.

    • admin says:

Hello! We are still in the process of rebuilding our website and apologize for any missing or incomplete information. We don’t have classes in June; our Summer Session starts in July and goes through to the end of August. All of our classes are 60 minutes unless otherwise noted. You are welcome to come to our studio on Saturday and view the first or last five minutes of class. Your child could also drop in, the rate is $20.00 for the hour. Should you decide to join our class, the tuition is one 60 minute class per week at $60.00 a month. There is a registration fee of $25.00 per dancer. Thanks for your interest and your feedback. We appreciate it and hope to see you soon!

Can you please confirm is there other time for the Combo class for 4-6 years old, other than Saturday 10-11am? Is there other classes at a different time on Saturday for the same age group?

        Hello,
We encourage you to also come to the Saturday class at 11:00am if that time is better for you. We look forward to seeing you both this week, thanks for your interest in our studio!

My little sister Karite Tauala goes to your school and i must say the June 2nd performance was amazing. Ive been dancing most my life and Tude’s looks like the perfect place for me to get more into it. but im into Hip Hop (breaking, locking. poping, waving, tutting, tricking, and choreo) but theres no young adult or adult hip hop class. im only 19 with a large passion for my dancing and Tude’s is very family oriented which im also very big on. So if there is any thing that opens or something that would be great. let me know.

      Hello!
We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed our 2013 summer performance! You, and many others have voiced a desire for an adult hip-hop class. We do not have a qualified teacher on staff at this time. We will be spending our month off from the studio to audition a new hip-hop teacher. Please check back in July to see who we’ve found!

    Hi
I have a 5 year old , interested in learning Ballet. DO you have any spots available? What are the combo class?

    Thanks
    Arnima

    • admin says:

      Hello,
Our combo classes are tap, tumbling, and ballet during a one-hour session on Saturdays mornings. We do not currently offer a one-hour ballet class for children under 10. If your daughter has no prior dance training, we encourage you to come in this Saturday at 12:00pm. Have her wear tights and a leotard in any colors, and we will be better able to assess her ability. Thanks for your interest, we look forward to meeting you.
      -TSoD

ed: We do offer a class for 8 and up on Mondays that is a jazz/ballet combo and this class has at least three years prior dance training.

  • Maria Deniston says:

Hi, I am 45 years old, and the only dance “training” I have had is swing/lindy, salsa, (club style, not ballroom) and beginning Argentine Tango – all rusty from a few years off. I would like to take an adult dance class, like Jazz, but I notice that the most beginning adult/teen Jazz class is the Jazz I/II class on Tuesdays at 8, and if I hover over it with my cursor, it says that 2 years of prior experience is required. I am guessing that the type of training I have had would not apply to this type of dance. Do you have any suggestions for a dance class for me? Thanks! Maria

    • admin says:

      Hello,
Our studio has reopened for classes today and we’d like to have you come in and try out the Tuesday jazz class. The current description needs to be updated. Bring some soft-soled shoes and clothes you can move freely in. Summer session is all about technique and is a great time to get a feel for the class and your ability. We look forward to seeing you!

    Hello Tude’s School of Dance!

I am a twenty-something year old female who would like to start learning ballet. I have no ballet experience, but greatly want to try this beautiful dance/art.

Do you offer adult beginner ballet classes? If yes, when are they held? How much do you charge? How can I sign up?

    Thank You! 🙂

    • admin says:

      Hello!
Currently we do not offer a beginning ballet class for adults. We have garnered quite a bit of interest in bringing that class to our studio schedule though. We urge you to keep checking our website for updates as the summer session is the prime time to try new things.
      Thank you!

  • D says:

I stopped by your studio with my 10 year old daughter before. She is interested in a beginner ballet class. Please let me know if you have such a summer class for her age group? A combo class that includes ballet will be good for her too.

  • Deena Desai says:

Hi, I would like details on pricing for registration and classes, can you please advise where I can find that as well as when you next session starts and for what age ranges specifically I am seeking tap and hip hop for my 6 yr old daughter.

    • admin says:

Hello! We are currently in our Winter session and classes are ongoing. We recommend your daughter come to our Saturday morning class at 11:00am.
The cost for that combination class, which is 60 minutes of tap, ballet, and tumbling is $60.00 per month.
You can also click on the “Schedules” tab at the top of the page for more information.
      Thank you for your interest!

  • Hi – I was trying to contact you regarding my three year old daughter trying out the Saturday morning ballet/tap class. I left a voicemail, but I saw that classes don’t resume until Labor Day week. Would we be able to show up at the first class time (9/7) for a trial class, and sign up if she enjoys it? I look forward to hearing from you, thanks!

    • admin says:

      Hello,
We hope you were able to come to the Saturday class with your daughter. Anyone can come and view the last five minutes of class or they can join in at any time during the autumn session. If you stay for the entire class, there is a $20.00 drop-in fee. That can be applied to tuition for the month when you decide to stay with us. Thanks for your interest in our school!

You might like to try our advanced tap class in Wednesday nights. Class starts at 6:30 and we work on technique and combinations for the autumn session. You are welcome to try the class at the drop-in rate of $20.00 , or you can view the last five minutes of class for free, of course. Hello! Apologies for not replying sooner, our website maintenance team is working to improve our response time.
Our annual Christmas show will be held Wednesday, December 18 at 7:00pm. That will be a direct conflict with your daughter’s play.
Please tell Miss Liz at the next class that your dancer will not performing with her class this winter.
      Thank you!

  • Gigi says:

Hello! I’m interested in your Ballet III/IV Teen/adult class. Is this the only adult ballet class you offer? It sounds pretty advanced and I’m not sure it would be suited for me. I am 32 years old, and in a former life I trained in ballet for many years and danced en pointe, but it’s been 10 years since I’ve danced seriously. Are there any other levels you offer for adults or would you recommend I give this one a go?

    • admin says:

Hello there! You may want to try our Ballet II class at 7:00pm on Monday nights. That is a teen//adult class and no one is en pointe yet. You may also want to try our Jazz II class at 8:00pm on Tuesday nights, which is also a teen/adult class. You may come to view either of the last five minutes of these classes, or you can come in and try for the drop-in rate of $20.00. That amount can then be applied to the monthly tuition when you decide to join. We will be open this week and look forward to seeing you at the studio!
      Thanks for your interest,

Hello! Our studio reopens on Monday the 4th of January. We recommend bringing your daughter to our Saturday tap and ballet combo class at 11:00AM. The class is for children that have had some prior dance training. Your daughter will need to wear a leotard and tights or leggings, and have ballet and tap shoes in any color. You may both come and observe the last ten minutes or, because it is the first Saturday of the month, you may opt to stay and watch the entire class. We will discuss registration after the end of the first class with you.
We look forward to meeting you!

        Hello again!
We start our youngest students with combo classes of ballet and tap because ballet is the foundation of all dance. When children are closer to eight through ten years of age, they are placed in hour-long classes of either tap or ballet to further encourage the development of dance strength and training.
We hope to see you this Saturday at 11:00AM!
