Every Tuesday is a Tutu Tuesday at the studio! While we normally don’t wear them to class, they are a big part of our costumes onstage. We just placed all our orders for the hundreds of costumes that will be used this year! Tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and some contemporary numbers to look forward to this summer as we dazzle and delight under those stage lights! Costume deposits of $30.00 per costume (not per class) were due on January 15th. The remaining balances will be due on March 15th. Keep an eye out for emails with your exact information. We’re back in the studio today and have so much going on already!  Your yearly registration is due this month, on the 15th.  Please call the studio for the total amount due per family.  As always, the first Saturday of the month is Parent Day and you’re invited to view the entirety of your child’s combo class at 10:00AM, 11:00AM, and 12:00PM.  We have a new, exciting hip hop teacher this year! Come join our teen/adult class this Wednesday at 6:00PM. Proper dance attire includes clothing you can move in that isn’t too baggy. Leggings, shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, and shoes with non-marking soles or jazz sneakers are all appropriate. …

Did you make it out to our Christmas Show last Wednesday? We had a fantastic time! Performances from almost all of our students, including our Rhythmic Movements group… AND our *new* Junior Rhythmic Movements made their debut with a contemporary piece choreographed by Elaine! We loved seeing all of the friends and families in the crowd that night. You make our smiles onstage brighter! It’s always such a whirlwind the day before a show! We have so much to prepare for tomorrow night- we still have normal classes until tonight. Our studio closes on Wednesday for the winter Break and we return for 2016 on Monday, January 4th! While we get ready for tomorrow, make sure you get ready too! Bring canned or nonperishable foods as your entry ticket to the Holiday Show, bring a few extra dollars for the bake sale, and if you or your dancer is performing, please be sure to arrive thirty minutes before showtime! It’s the first Saturday and that means we open our studio doors to all the parents to come and watch the entire class! We’re incredibly excited to announce that we have partnered with United Way Silicon Valley for another holiday season! We have signed up to donate gifts to children that might not otherwise receive any gifts this Christmas. We hope that, as in years past, we will have so many donors at the studio willing to participate that we exceed our goal of helping FITFY local elementary school children. Santa Clara will be hosting the annual art and wine festival this Saturday the 19th, and Sunday the 20th in Central Park, and we will be performing!
